A water clear, UV stabilised, 2-part epoxy resin casting system used to create river tables, countertop coatings, resin art, encapsulation, electrical potting, 3d floor art coating and many other casting related applications. This high-performance epoxy resin has excellent self-levelling properties and outstanding self-clearing properties leaving castings virtually bubble free. Once cured, castings exhibit negligible shrinkage are scratch resistant (but not scratch proof) and are UV stabilised. Cured castings are FDA approved for culinary applications making them food-safe (please note that food should not exceed 50°Celcius). 

Max thickness per pour = 5cm. Pot Life 60min (mixed quantity dependent), Curing time 48hrs, Hard curing – 1 week (project size dependent). Mixing Ratio 100:33 by weight. 

WARNING: FOODSAFE RESIN IS ONLY SAFE FOR INCIDENTAL CONTACT and if using to decorate serving / cheeseboards / etc, the decorative area should not be used kept free of foods. Foodsafe resin becomes non-food safe once colour is added to it, therefore once decorative area has been designed, a clear foodsafe coat should be poured as a top coat. Alternately a clear coat foodsafe resin can be poured over an acrylic design too. 

ALL RESINS emit Volatile Organic Compounds and these gasses are poisonous to your health. Make sure you wear a respirator that caters specifically to gasses when working with this product. (see the safety and consumables range).

All culinary products with resin designs should be hand washed only with warm soap water.
