My name is Tara and I am a resin art addict! I have always loved creating things and have an eager fascination of what can be achieved with the simplest of items. My journey started 25 years ago with beaded items, which developed into intricate threading and weaving techniques later on, as the love for the art grew…and yes, I wore everything I made.

Like most creatives I tried various product genres each with its own problem-solving requirements. In mid-2011 I took a year long distance learning journey down the Silversmithing road which was a significant turning point in the “what can be achieved next” in my creative path. This opportunity opened my eyes to a greater understanding of mixed media products.

In 2018 I was searching for a product that I could preserve a beautiful moth my daughter had found dead at school which was the size of my palm. I discovered Epoxy resin and I was in creative heaven! I dabbled with the product, researched, consumed hours of videos and enthusiastically made plenty of product for months on end. No art form is without its challenges and there were lots of frustrating mistakes, waste, bubble ridden, flash cures and unevenly set projects along the way. I still have those AHA moments as I learn new things with this art form. Sometimes I catch myself thinking “I wonder if that can be put into resin”?

In April 2019 Tee Square was born, creating the vehicle I had dreamed of for many years to share the possibilities of these versatile products with a larger audience. As the business continues to grow, I would like to say a special thank you to all that have supported me thus far and that continue to help me build this exciting range!
